Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse, it does.

Apparently the condo association nazis now have the authority to override the vote of the condo owners. After ASKING the owners for permission to install Verizon Fios (Verizon = monopoly of the millenium)lines and that permission being vetoed by a good portion of the owners, the ASSociation board felt it was OK to override that veto.

They got it into their heads that balconys are "common areas" much like a hallway or a lobby. Somehow the thought of anyone being able to walk around my balcony as if it were a hallway or lobby is disturbing to me. Now those of us who feel that we should be able to CHOOSE OUR OWN CABLE/INTERNET/PHONE providers have been FORCED to allow Verizon access to our private balconies so they can install HUGE UGLY box covered CABLES on the INSIDE OF OUR BALCONY WALLS!

I am OUTRAGED that my unit will now DEPRECIATE IN VALUE because of these HIDEOUS installations. I am OUTRAGED at having this completely unnecessary installation FORCED upon my property.

Needless to say, I will likely be putting my unit up for sale as I no longer enjoy this property or the ASSociation that "runs" it. Too many stupid rules, not enough washers and dryers!

Ok, so this story just gets MORE amusing... After installing the ugly crap on my balcony for VFios, come to find out, THE ACTUAL FIOS SERVICE LINES DO NOT EVEN EXIST OUT ON STREET!!!!!!!!! How outrageous is THAT??? I had to allow these boobs to desecrate my private balcony space to install the lines and the service doesn't even exist....what a waste of my balcony aesthetics... I'm BEYOND pissed! SOMEBODY needs to get their heads out of their ASSES!
