My wife and I have lived here for almost one year, and we can?t wait until our lease is up!!
The apartments are nice and fortunately our immediate neighbors are tolerable. However, each building has only one washer/dryer per 12 apartments; whether it?s working or not is a whole other story.
I have a high tolerence for a lot of things believe it or not, but I can?t stand sitting down to dinner and hearing eminem blaring so loud from the building across from ours that it sounds like it?s in my living room.
The snow removal is horrendous. "Buy a shovel." Those are the only words of advice I have for you in the winter time. Shovel you?re own walkways and shovel out your car. Hey, while you?re at it you might as well shovel everyone out b/c when you get home from work your nicely shoveled parking space WILL be taken, probably from the lazy jerk who?s collecting food stamps, watching Jerry Springer and who pays half the rent you do!
One last piece of information everyone should know before moving to Stone Ends...

Our electric bill was $120 this summer. The air conditioning was going right out into the HEATED hallway because of the 3" gap under our door. I could have fried an egg inside on the stairs of our building. Supposedly each building is air conditioned. Just like the washer and dryer are supposed to work every once and a while too, right'

You need to buy a house, or move to Florida with the rest of the old farts.
