We have lived here since November 2006 and I have to say I have been pretty happy with the situation. The neighborhood is quiet, and I like having a private entrance and the townhome style. So far the staff has been helpful and courteous to us, and we don't have any problems with neighbors or anyone else for that matter. The apartment has a "home-y" feel to it because the layout isn't that typical "box" layout you find in apartments. My only negative views would be:

-Somewhat small kitchen
-No laundry room/closet (w/d is in kitchen area, which contributes to the "smallness" factor
-Electric Heat (which is quite expensive)
-No central air conditioning, but there is an air conditioning unit in the living room
-Countertops aren't the greatest of quality
-everything is white, so kind of boring for me.
-no playground for the kids
-no covered parking

However, on the plus side:

-Townhome style, so 1st and 2nd floor, 2nd floor with bedrooms and bathroom
-The bedrooms are spacious and have good closet space
-We have a deck off the back sliding door, and it's pretty large compared to just a balcony in a typical apartment
-Open floor plan, not as square (like I said earlier above)
-A good amount of storage space
-Nice carpeting
-they are located off the main road a bit so there's some privacy and nice views of trees
-There is reserved parking, 2 spots right outside your door, so that's a convenience.
-Staff is timely and thorough with the snow-plowing...had several times already with lots of snowfall, and they were right on top of it!

Overall, the positives outweigh the negatives for me; I am just picky because I've lived in so many other places (houses and apartments) before I moved here to Sturbridge. But I would definitely recommend this place to anyone, I moved here from out of state and I was very pleased with what I found when I moved here. I feel that for the most part we are getting a good place for what we are paying. Sturbridge is a nice small town that feels safe and the people are pretty nice and considerate, from what I've seen. There is a plaza right down the road with all kinds of stores and restaurants, although not enough for me!! (I am a city girl) but overall I am able to find what I need and I like the quieter atmosphere here.
