I lived at cliffside...excuse me CRAPside 9 months too long! The plumbing is so poorly maintained that the pipes rusted and there was a flood in our building(S) and there was feces everywhere including our living room carpet. This problem had been building up since we had moved in and no one took care of it until they ABSOLUTELY had to. They shut the water off in the middle of the night with no warning and it was off for more than 36 hours. We had to find another place to stay since we have a baby and could not be without water. Management offered no refunds and conviently didn't show up for work the next day. We had to vacate our apartment a month early due to unhealthy living conditions and we were forced to pay a months rent for an apartment we couldn't stay in. Plus they rented out our apartment before out lease technically ended and they wanted us to pay for it until the new tenant moved in. The hallways are stained with feces and all they did was 'shampoo' the carpets and leave an air freshener in the hallway and the door open for over a week like that would make it a cleaner place to live. On top of all of this we spent 2 days cleaning up the apartment after the plumbers left their big crap mess behind(we had to if we wanted to get PART of our security back- the other part was taken out for what i mentioned earlier) and we had that apartment looking brand new and it was in as good a move in condition as it had ever been except for 30 years ago when it was built and the property manager didn't even have the decentcy to even look at what we did- ALL SHE WANTED WAS OUR MONEY!!!!!!! We cleaned that apartment 100x better than what it looked like when we moved in. I still can't believe how poorly treated we were there. NEVER EVER LIVE AT CLIFFSIDE IF YOU HAVE ANY PRIDE!!! They walk all over you and treat you like dirt.

I currently live in S building and there are no fecal stains. During the time of your post (a year before my writing this) I lived over in M building and never heard from my neighbors of this event. This review is somehow suspect. P.S. You have the right to refuse rent for repairs that are needed and entitled to rent reimbursement for time forced to vacate. Either this person didn't know or fight for their rights, or this might be a posted review by a competing complex maybe? |
