My son and his friend just moved in yesterday and I couldn't have anything but nice things to say about the Sugarloaf team.

Here are some pros I found with the property:

Large apartments
Most utilities included
No extra fees at move in (what is the last reviewer talking about)'
Friendly and helpful service
Effecient maintenance team (we had a couple issues in the apt at move in and they came right over)
The bus if free for students (makes it a lot easier for my son)
My son wanted a ceiling fan instead of a chandelier light fixture in the dining room, so they replaced it for him and it was with a Smile :)

Some negatives people may see could be the bathroom size (enough room to move, but my son wishes there was a couple more towel rods).

The pool could be open a bit later in the evening.

Overall, my husband and I had a wonderful experience with Sugarloaf Estates and would reccomend to anyone who asks.

After reading the previous reviews, it sounds to me like someone just did not get their way, and unfortunately, he/she is trying to sabotage something on this site.

However, I do reccomend reading your Lease contract, addendums, and speaking openly and hoestly with the management staff. They are very friedly and flexible, in terms of making certain expections (installing a ceiling fan), and also quick to respond to my son's maintenance needs on his move in day.

This is my eyes, is EXCELLENT customer service.

With the service, respect and excellent treatment we received this summer, I just don't see what the other reviewers are talking about.

Unlike most of the obviously fake reviews, this one is more than a couple lines long, so it might be real. However, that doesn't change the fact that it's written by someone based on the move-in experience of the first day. I didn't have any issues the day I moved in either (though I certainly wouldn't have given it all 5 stars either, which is ridiculous). It's easy to create the illusion of being helpful when you're trying to sell something.

Your son just moved in yesterday and you're already reviewing the complex for him? (How old is he, nine?). Let your son review the place when he moves out. I was reading all the reviews on this site and its only the FAKE ones like this one that mention the "Sugarloaf Team." I lived at Sloaf for two years and no tenant ever said those words: the Sugarloaf Team. Only the management says that so this is obviously a fake review. I wonder how many times they've done that!!!! And then they give the place 5 stars on everything? Come on baby, it's not a Park Avenue Penbthouse! LIES.

well, wait until you experience with the snow day, the night live, the noice, the great "Sugarloaft Team" maintenance quality, and great free "always NOT on" internet, then I will see how you rate it.

Why would someone take the care to backlash at the other comments, would someone who doesn't even live here really be that motivated? What great treatment, you mean salesmanship, yeah that's what people do when they want your money, id rather they talked to me like dirt and actually did something sometimes than constantly lie bold face to me. They claim it sounds like someone just didn't get their way, yeah, that's all of us living here, we pay for stuff that is in our lease and we don't get it, they run of the fact that colleges are nearby and they will fill the apt's regardless of wether we are satisfied or not. People who live here need to stand up to sugarloaf, we pay to live here and MA tenants have a lot of rights. Go over your lease and all the pamphlets they gave you, you can nail them on a lot of things.

I suggest that everyone who lives at Sugarloaf call Sunderland health department every time you have a problem with the scumbags who manage the place: Please call Cindy Bennett at 665.1441, for appointments and concerns.
