Depends on your neighbors

If you're sensitive to noise or cigarette smoke, I wouldn't recommend this complex. Noise travels through the central stairwell that connects 6 apartments. If your neighbors are door slammers, your apartment will shake. If your neighbors blast their stereos, you'll hear it better than your own. The front bedrooms are right next to the parking lot, so if your windows are open you'll hear every conversation, car stereo, and loud exhaust.
As for smoke, all bathrooms have this central exhaust fan. If anyone above or below you smokes, their smoke travels up through the fan ducts into your apartment. You can shut your bathroom door, but then your bathroom gets hazy.
We haven't had major problems with maintenance or the office staff, but the latter does make mistakes. We rent a storage unit on the grounds, but their records got screwed up and they didn't have it linked to us. They almost threw our stuff out, but never commented on the fact that we were paying extra rent each month. We had paid a deposit on our last month's rent when we moved in so our last check was less than the full rent amount. They sent us a notice to vacate and said we were getting evicted without checking their records for this deposit.
Management also has this absurd clause in the lease that you need to give 2 months notice whether you'll renew your lease or move out. Good luck getting them to bend the rules for you--the office staff says that "corporate" makes the rules and there's nothing they can do.
The apartment was nice and clean when we moved in and they had replaced the carpet. The grounds seem to be going downhill, but are generally in good shape. Parking is never an issue in our building. They will put tow notices on cars when it snows, but do so the afternoon before they tow and give you until the next morning. If you pay attention when it snows a lot (not that often!), it shouldn't be an issue. The fitness center is fine, but people don't respect that it's common property and abuse the equipment.
This would be a nicer place if there weren't so many inconsiderate d-bags around. Maybe if the management enforced their rules regarding noise, they'd attract more responsible people
