I have lived in the Archstone tower scince October of 2002. It is my first appartment, and I am in the middle of the road on staying or not. I do know I will not be staying thought because the rent will go up I am told by other tenants.

The grounds are very well kept and staff is very business like. The only flaw in the staff is they wait 3 weeks to try and deposit rent checks so they bounce. Most of the neighbors are very nice, but there are some who like to make lots of noise after my children go to sleep.

Parking is a joke. The only time you can get a decent spot is in the middle of the day or if you have special plates. And the number of vehicles with out of state plates is rediculous!

The pool is very nice though it is not open that often. And the security doors are proped open very often. Doing laundry here is a big hassel. Besides the fact that it is 1.50 per wash or dry, they are never available when you need them. Your clothes dont allways dry because other tenants open the drier and donot restart it. If you forget to check your pockets they take your money. This does not include the anoying laundry cards.

I do know the back appartments have W/D in unit so they dont have these problems.

With that said I do not recomend these apartments unless you can afford the back units.
