This place is for the bird lovers or should I say the Smelly Geese Lovers!

good points:
Large rooms - heat and a/c work nice when working close to 128.
nice room for rent for parties.

bad points:
no handycap parking for guests.

Construction going on across the way from 6am-5pm 7 days a week. Called police, they say it is a commercial zoned area and there is nothing they can do --> Very noisy.

The manager seems to date available young men that live here from time to time giving them the new appliances and free laundry.

The AC never gets turned on when the hot weather arrives. Manager states the eldery require the heat on a 95 degree day.

If you call after hours for an emergency, you get the security office (if they show up, but they can not do anything for us) or an answering machine which no one monitors until m-f.

The pool is never open and when it is it is always cold. Manager states the parts are on order (but months goes by with no resolution). She says this for everything that is wrong in the place. I can not wait to move out.

Rent goes up $100 every year.

A/C and heat in common hallways have been shut off. Manager states they get too cold and hot.

Storage downstairs gets broken in to often, can not leave items there anymore.

ELEVATORS are down all the time!! Get ready to walk up the stairs with your bundles as the elevators are over 20yrs old and break weekly.

Manager took 6 carriages from us, (not sure why but the Lobby women (4 lady's that relax after dinner) think she did this because a tenent call the board of health about the garabage smell in the looby, bad smell on a hot day) now you have to take all your bundles up to your apt. by hand.

Carabeta Management does not care about the tenents nor does the girl managing the place.

For some reason they think in Wakefield they can get $25 more for each floor up you go.
Thats right, $100 more to live on the 10 floor.

Finally they have Direct tv, but there is a catch!! THE OWNER OF THR BLDING (CARABETTA)
DOES NOT OWN THE WIRES.
This means you have to pay 2 bills for cable.
one for the use of the wires and another to direct tv. RUMOR HAS IT, THE OWNER OF THE WIRES (VERDUCCI ENTRTPRISE, MALDEN MA) IS CARABETTA'S UNCLE.

VERDUCCI WILL NOT RETURN YOUR CALLS WHEN THE CABLE GOES DOWN OR HAS PROBLEMS BUT HE WILL CALL YOU IF YOU ARE LATE WITH A BILL.
