Years at this apartment:

When i moved to the Village, i was treated with respect, because that is how all sales people do there job. After one year of living on the property, listening to all the noises, favored celtic tenants, radio celebrities, i went into the office for a rent reduction and the arrogant property manager did not reduce my rent. After talking to the new tenant that moved in to the apartment that was vacant for awhile, got a free month rent and is paying lower rent than me why should i stay here' I asked the property manager the same question hoping he would give me a free month as well said there was nothing he could do, my apartment is in demand. Demand i said to be empty,, which it is since i have moved to another property away from archstone-smith. When you here the name archstone smith, run while you can; these people are greedy and have no idea that a vacant apt in these times means it is not 1998 any more the year that i moved into the area and there were no apts to be had. After my wife and I looked around there are management companies and properties that are in tune with the economy we found, there is a glut of apartments in the area so look around archstone smith has good quality apts but the management feel that what archstone apts are the best but hello it is the price of the apt. and they are many good qualtiy apts in the area, and better for the value. I hated to leave but i called the office to see what was available, is my apt that i vacated is still vacant, and that it is cheaper than what i was asking to pay! So Mister Manager, bit advice: start looking for a new job when you still have one, because i now live at the Colonade Apts. in Boston..talk to the manager here, she knows of people that worked for the same idiots you do, she got out... before they let you go.
