Challenge this in court you will win trust me.. call the attorney generals office and they are not allowed to charge you anything additional for rent ...

You are dumb if that was the case than every apartment complex in the state should be under review. Every complex I have ever looked at that allowed pets charged a few. Might want to get some better info.

Charging a non-refundable pet deposit is ILLEGAL in Mass. You can be charged a monthly pet rent or a refundable pet deposit. But- check the law - non refundable pet fees are illegal
