If you are looking to stay here only one year and can get a move-in special then that is fine. If you plan to renew your lease, expect to pay more than newer tenants. The office will tell you that this is a move-in special but the bottom line is that they are offering move-in specials because they have too many vacant apartments and too few people to come and see them. Too bad they could not return the favor to their good tenants upon lease renewal. No they expect us to pay more. Not impressed........

A move in special expires at lease end. New tenants moving in today will experience the same increases when their lease expires. The nature of these "sales" is that they, of course, end. It is like a promotional rate in any other service industry you can name. For example, discounts on cable TV for the first 3 months but require a 1 year subscription, etc. It is not rocket science!

Doesn't look like there are many, if any, vacant apts. How bad can it be?

There are definatly empty apartments. As for the money, they should give a slight break for previous tenants as apprication! The rent increases every year. They told me it increases to the base rates. Not true. Plus management changes constantly, why can't they keep their help?
