This apartment complex has been spiraling down since Cocoran Management bought the complex. Whole place looks like a mixture of the worst parts of Detroit and Calcutta.
Yesterday I came home to find all the vegetation around all of the buildings CLEAR-CUT! This has now become the UGLIEST and dirtiest apartment complex I have ever lived in.
The hallways look like Calcutta (no baseboard, torn up old carpeting) and half of the interior access doors do not have latches.
The laundry rooms are NEVER CLEANED.
The bannister is missing on half of the outside stairs (which are very slippery when it rains).
Rent is high (1460/mo with one pet for one bedroom with NO washer/dryer in unit).

I agree with the negative reviews. Our carpet is at least 10 years old and disgusting, our hallway isn't fully carpeted and they've been "working" on it for the last six weeks so we've had bare concrete three inches wide along every hallway wall and our entrance doors propped open all day for weeks on end. We've gone through three bottom stairs neighbors and they were all so loud and the cops were here once a month at least for one of them. It gets very low class at times because they accept the gov't subsidized renters who will make your life hell. They only pay a very small portion of your rent with your tax dollars, and then you have to deal with the consequences of their lifestyle which is often loud and illegal. This apartment doesn't do adequate background checks so do check the official state and local websites that post crime reports and where child molestors live before you rent here because you deserve to know what you're getting into beforehand. Wish we'd known. Crime and often rotating bad neighbors around here. The stairways do make you slip every winter, although they keep a huge, tacky bucket of salt on the stairway nothing can make these dangerous steps safe. You're also on a noisy street which is not good for walking dogs or children in strollers so you can get unhealthy and sedentary pretty easily. This place is not good, and I highly recommend you never set foot in this place. Rents are high and the quality of life is so low.

Thank you for chiming in. I never thought it would get this bad. My hallway is filled with tobacco stench 24/7 (compaints gain me nothing) and they say all the destruction will be re-built. Don't think I can wait until 2012. This place really sucks!

Now they found aspestos. This is lovely. I feel for the people with kids.
