This is one of the best apartments I've had. The manager (Paul) was extremely helpful and always friendly. We only had 1 or or 2 things in need of repair in 2 years in the building and both times Paul handled it immediately at no cost to us:

Repair 1: Landscaper kicked a stone with a weed-wacker and broke our window the first week - the double pane of glass kept the unit intact until it was repaired only 2 days later.

Repair 2: After about a year the tube connecting the dish washer to the garbage disposal came off. It was a Sunday. I notified Paul Monday morning and by 2:30pm the plumber had fixed it and gave us a brand new disposal unit.

Repair 3: (Two unrelated incidents.) The water flow in the kitchen became weak. The carbon monoxide detector wouldn't stop beeping (until unplugged). I mentioned both and Paul gave us a new CO2 unit and a new "airator" for the faucet which fixed the problems.


Other positive comments:
- Very little noise from neighbors (3 sides). Either we are just lucky or the walls and ceilings are well insulated.
- Plenty of parking. Never have a problem finding a spot. Lot is cleared of snow promptly when necessary.
- Garbage removal is prompt.
- Well landscaped. Landscapers appear weekly (Tues') like clockwork.
- Unit was painted and carpets washed before we moved in. Saw it before this and it wasn't bad. Other landlords I've had in the past did not do this.
- Appliances in good working order. Refrigerator was only 1-yr old when we moved in.
- Neighbors were generally friendly (hallways, parking lot, mailboxes).
- The building is well situated. The entire property is surrounded by fences with a small stream on 2 sides. Trees surround the outside of the property. While off a main road it feels very private - almost like a castle with a moat.

*** We searched all over and the price/sqft was easily the best in the area. Our large 1000 sqft apt cost the same as 800 sqft places nearby. We'd have to go out to Marlborough to find a similar size at a similar price (at least when we did our search).

The one negative I would mention would be the laundry units. They worked okay and were available, but I did find it more convenient to use the large laundromat just 1/4 mi down the street. That may just be me though.


We're leaving because relocating for work. Will be sad to leave what has been a great home for 2 years. I would highly recommend this property to anyone and cannot speak highly enough of Paul and the staff. (Family run business, not impersonal corporation.)
