DON"T EVER LIVE HERE!!!!!

Having lived at Gardencrest for 13 years, I can first hand attest to what Home Properties did to Gardencrest in the name of GREED!!!! Wonderful people who lived there were forced to move because the rents were jacked up so high and people were treated like DIRT!!! I can't begin to tell about all the lies that were told over and over again. Total strangers had keys to all our aparments when they came in to so call "fix up the place with some new gadget."

The week I was to move out, I was told that they were coming in to put in the AC and new heating system. I had to throw a total fit and put signs on my doors to keep them out so I could finish packing and move. I still had some things in the apartment when they came in to put in the AC and some of my things were stolen!! I reported this to the police.

At a meeting with one of the head owners he stated that first they take care of their employees, next the stockholders, and last of all the tenants.

As for safety, they would not consistently shovel the walkway from my door to the parking lot. I called the office, went down and talked to the manager over and over again. I even called the head office in New York. I even took many pictures of the mounds of snow (showed the management the pictures) and got a letter from my doctor stating that the walkways had to be shoveled and sanded because if I fell I could sustain severe neurological damage. I was told by the a person in Rochester, NY that I could get all the doctors notes I wanted but they did not have to shovel!!! That is when my doctor told me to contact the city and if that did no good then to get a lawyer. I contacted a person on the city counsel who informed Gradencrest management that yes indead they did have to shovel. To get back at me, they shoved my rent sky high and forced me to move.

Can't forget to mention the police cruisers pulling up with flashing blue lights in the middle of the night because of domestic problems in other apartments.

WELCOME TO CORPORATE AMERICA who has made their billions by destroying people's lives. THEY HAVE NO CONSCIENCE!!!! On a closing note, I want to say that I have never seen a spread sheet in an obituary.
