A costly mistake

The good ?? these are beautiful new apartments and the floor plans are really nice.
The bad ?? unfortunately the air handling is terrible you will smell every meal that your neighbors cook and every cigarette they smoke. They will tell you that they are sound proof when they show you around, but they are anything but. I could hear every conversation and step that people made in the hallway and every time my neighbor 2 apartments down played his stereo it shook my apartment. I could hear conversations from the apt next door and when they had a party it was like I had been invited.
The ugly ?? they will offer you a discount on your next months rent if you refer a friend, and you do get a discount on rent, not a check for cash, but surprise surprise you also get a 1099 at the end of the year. Good thing Macys doesn??t give you a 1099 for discounts they offer.
Should you have to move early and break your lease be prepared to be hammered. I just got bill for over 2 mos worth of rent which is more then they calculated it for when I told them I was moving. It seems like every time they calculate it the number changes and goes up.
There is also a problem with dog owners not picking up after their pets. you would think that they could hire someone to keep areas clean with what they charge people for pet rent but they don't.
Over all it was a nice apartment but had I known about the noise, smells, and fees I would not have rented here.
As for the other perfect reviews, my guess would be that they were posted by people that work for the property.
