As others have said, there is dog poop everywhere for starters. The shared areas were nice originally but are messy and badly kept now; hallways are scratched up and ratty; elevators are always dirty with strange, smelly stains in them. To top it all, the area the apartments are in is a downright mess - there is a huge parking lot just being built right next to the building - say bye bye to light and views. Waltham traffic is horrendous despite the fact that there is nothing here except a few restaurants. Beacon Hill rents in a thoroughly low-class neighborhood - not a good deal at all.
