I have read many of the comments on this sight and I am more than offended. I have lived at Longview for a number of years and I can honestly say that I have had a very positive experience. The staff has changed since moving in, but everyone that has been in the office is responsive. The maintenance staff works very hard and responds within 24-48 hours of any maintenance request. As for mice, when this property first opened there was a small mice problem, but if you go to any new constructions sight, with ground that has been disturbed- guess what you will see' Mice! I have certainly not seen any mice on the property in at least a year and I have never heard mice running through the walls. I have lived in a couple different apartments on the property, so I think I am qualified to judge this. As for dogs...I walk the grounds every morning with my dog and overall the landscaping is well maintained. I know that there are a few residents that are not responsible about taking care of their pets, but overall the grounds are kept nice. Everyone has different sensativities and there are people that require more attention and are higher maintenance than others, but that should have no reflection on the property itself. I would give Longview five stars and say that what you get for the price is good value. There is an outstanding fitness center that is open 24 hours a day, a screening room and better yet, the staff throws community parties about once a month. The last party was an end of summer party- very good time. Great food, decorations etc. Best value in Waltham!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
