Started great, turned into a nightmare

We lived there for 2 years. The first year there was wonderful, It was quite and most of our neighbors were very nice. That all changed when college kids moved next door to us. From the first day the noise stared, stereo blasting every night starting at 10pm (usually until 3AM), pounding on the walls, yelling, slamming doors very late at night..etc. We tried talking to the staff with not success. The police were called numerous times. Even after numerous complaints to management, nothing was done. After months and months of complaints by us as well as other tenants on the same floor, we were told by managment that due to all the complaints those tenants were going to be evicted and it would take about 3 months. 1 year later they were still there noisy as ever! Most of the people on the same floor that I talked to would tell us they have complained about the college kids to management as well however nothing was done. Everytime it was the same response by management (we will take care of it and send them a warning).
This apartment would have been a great place to live if it wasn't for the noise. If management would have kept their word about evicting those horrible neighbors, we probably would still be living there. However after a year of being woken up weekdays at 3AM we had enough.
If I were a college "party" kid this apartment would be ideal, since apperantly management doesn't really care if they are super noisy at any hour.

we must have lived next to the same people. They are terrible neighbors and the staff is just as worse. I told them that they should be ashamed for basically ignoring the complaints of what I am sure is the majority of the people here.

I've experienced the penetrating noise as well. What is laughable is that when we were initially shown the apartment (back when most were empty), the leasing agent at the time assured us that the walls were "sound proof." Nothing could be further from the truth. On a final note, management here is atrocious. Erin is completely unresponsive, unaccountable, and never follows up with any of her promises. I bet that these kids didn't even get a warning.

It is ver ydifficult to evict people for any reason in Massachusetts. It usually takes about a year for it to go through the courts.
