After moving in this past summer, I wanted to gain a little knowledge of the area before writing this review. First let me say that the apartments are brand new...

Things about the apartment we like...
1. Clean and Modern
2. All new appilances, I like the self-cleaning oven, big plus for me! The dishwasher is loud, but it's ok.
3. Management has been great, although we have not had any issues.
4. Enclosed stairwells, and floors, very nice when it gets cold.
5. Lots of kitchen cabinets, and counter space.
6. The linen closets, and pantry all have shelves.
7. They take larger dogs, and people pick up, I have yet to walk out and find dog poop on the grounds!!!
8. Buildings have security doors.
9. You have your own water heater, not sharing with the community, however you can't control the temp.
10. Gym and business center are open 24 hours a day, but is small given the # of apartments.
11. Lay-out of the apartments are nice.
12. First real snow storm December 9th, plowing was done quickly, walkways were clear and salt left at the doors.

Things we don't like...
1. Electric bills are high, with A/C average about $140 per month (summer), that is set at 75 degrees!!! Nstar Electric Co
2. Water and Sewer bill about $40 per month, just 2 people at one shower each!
3. We can hear our neighbors down stairs when they watch TV. I don't know if they are eldery and just need to volume up or if the walls are thin, but it can be annoying.
4. Storage, there is none in the apartment, however they do offer some in the buildings all be it very small...
5. Closets are very, small.
6. Garages are over $275 per month.
7. Pool is only open from 11:00am - 7:00pm, not exactly making the hours for the residents.
8. Deck is just barely big enough for a tiny table and a chair, just one chair...
9. NO GRILLS...they do offer the "picnic" kind out in the public areas.
10. Absolutely no flexibility with lease terms, one year only.
11. I had to add this on... December 9th, they have put in a trash compactor which is great. However,it is all the way at the other end of the complex, I mean over a quarter of a mile walk... from buildings 1-3 to empty your garbage!!! This is a huge inconvenience!!!!!
12. Received first gas bill, heat at 68, cost was $110, Keyspan Gas Co.

This is not an apartment complex that is geared towards children. This is not bad, but if you have children I would look elsewhere. No playgrounds, or open grassy areas for them to play.
