I just moved in a few months ago and wanted to give a review for others looking into The Ridge.
Things I like:
1)Very spacious 2-bedroom floorplan. Love the high ceilings and crown-molding.
2)Very nice clubhouse (workout room, etc.)
3)Convenient location! Close to everything!

Things I dislike:
1)Hallways of building are not air-conditioned which makes the hike upstairs pretty uncomfortable especially with a load of groceries. Plus they don't clean the carpets in the hallways so it's pretty gross and smells too! Embarrassing when you have guests over.
2)Everyone has a dog in this place. I have no problem with dogs but the small lawn is basically a doggie toilet.
3)Parking is terrible. Unless you're home early, you're not parking close to your building. Visitor parking is way too far.
4)ONE dumpster/trash compactor for the ENTIRE complex. I hate this!! I have to get in my car to take out the trash.
5)Pool hours are not convenient. 11-7'' Should be open earlier and stay open later!!
6)Low-income housing. I just think it stinks that I bust my tail off to make a living and someone making less gets the same exact apartment for half the price.
7)Cheap fixtures and appliances. The fridge sucks! It's so small for two people...only has one drawer. You don't realize how much it sucks until you're using it. Flooring in kitchen and baths is cheap too. The dishwasher is VERY loud! I just expect more for the price I'm paying and for "Luxury Apartments".
8)Don't know if it's thin walls or what but I can hear the people below us. Whenever they turn on the TV it's loud and it can be very annoying.
9) Getting sick of all the domestic disturbances. I think since I've been there (approx. 3 months), the cops have been to the building next door about 15 times. It's ridiculous!! Almost every weekend there's 5 cop cars that come swarming in at night.
10)Had to add this on....when we were looking at The Ridge they said our apartment was "brand new" and we were the first to live there. After chatting with our neighbor last night, found out someone else lived there before us for a whole year making the apartment and building older than they told us. It pisses me off to know that we were lied to about something like this. Makes me wonder what else they lied about.

If the cost of this place was less I'd probably not have as many gripes but paying as much as we are, I'd expect more.
