Average and Nice for a Luxury Price

We lived here around almost two years and it is a nice place to live, but it's certainly not luxury. You are essentially getting a regular, average apartment, with a high price tag. The walls and floors are suprisingly thin and allow you to hear a lot about your neighbors, the 'granite' countertops are actually only laminate, the floors cheap linoleum and the appliances are noisy, white average appliances like every other rental community vs. quiet, stainless, and the high ceilings just mean you're paying more every winter to heat space you're not using. It can be very loud at times, be prepared to hear everything from your neighbors balcony below and the people outside. In the winter, they will begin plowing and using a bobcat to remove snow at around 5:30-6 am. I suspect that most of the luxury price you pay goes into the groundskeeping because they do a lot of upkeep with the landscaping and they do a lot of snow removal. The leasing staff are very nice and courteous but they don't really go out of their way and unlike other places such as AMLI there really are not that many other ammenities that I typically associate with 'luxury' living.
