It's not as bad as everyone makes it out to be...

I have lived here for almost two years now and I honestly have to say that the management staff have been excellent! The interactions that I have had with them have been very friendly and extremely helpful. Living here is a little expensive, but that's to be expected when you live in Massachusetts. The townhome that we live in is newly renovated, clean, and appeared to be in good condition structure-wise. However, after a year or so living here we noticed that the mouldings started to pull away from the wall and cracks started to appear on the walls and ceilings. It's not very well insulated and is usually VERY cold in the bedrooms during the winter months. I would say these units, at least ours, was not very energy and heat efficient. The parking isn't great either especially when you have more than one car. There are no assigned parking spaces and it is virtually IMPOSSIBLE to find a parking space during the winter months especially when the snow hasn't been plowed yet. Additionally, during the summer months, it's not uncommon to be visited by carpenter ants or silver fish.
However, all in all, our experience living here has been pretty good other than the minor structural "flaws," lack of parking spaces, and visiting insects.

The staff was very nice on initial visit, but young recent college grads and gung ho and maybe commission incented. I saw some units being renovated with insulation wrap being put underneath the outer siding which seems like they are slowly overhauling the complex. Not a good sign if your already renovated unit is still cold in winter. Also having 3 hot water boilers in a 1 bedroom, 2 of which obviously serve the upper 2 apartments doesn't sound too bright.

living in massachusetts is not as expensive as living in windsor village .. $1500 for a pretty bad condition 1-bedroom sucks .. it would be preferable to move to Ridge or Avalon if you are ready to pay such a high rent .. or move a few miles to Burlington/Woburn to get a bigger cleaner apartment for a much lower price..
