Windsor Apts in Waltham is a complete and utter disappointment. The "Dartmouth" 1 bedroom apt barely has any storage space available for a $1500/12 month lease. I needed to rent a Public Storage unit about 2 miles away since they are only 2 small closets in this apt. The floor plan on the web is misleading since you think there is a 3rd closet but you will be sorely mistaken. This third "closet" houses 2 water heaters for the 2 apts above the 1 bedroom apt. These water heaters are quite noisy when they are on. The apt is drafty and you are consistantly losing heat from the sliding doors. BTW- You are responsible for your heating (gas) bill!

The insulation for the apt is terrible since you can hear your neighbors upstairs talk and walk around. I could have sworn that my neighbors were extremely obese since they had loud thumps every step they made. I was shocked to see that both families above we not as fat as I imagined. I have to wear earplugs to get to sleep and stay asleep since you can hear everything above you. Sometimes, I can hear them even with the ear plugs in my ears! Also, there is a living room of the apt above my bedroom. So it is nearly impossible to stay in the bedroom for any more than 7hrs of sleep.

On the 2nd day of living here, I was awoken by the noise of my neighbors at 4am and also spotted a large centipede on the wall above me. This explained the numorous marks on my back that I found in the morning. I have seen several large bugs here and grow more weary since this is Dec 2007 and we have aleady had 2 major snow storms. I don't want to even think of what the summer will be like!

If you choose to rent here, please be advised that you will be disppointed with this apt complex since it is no where near luxury!

i totally agree with you. i had the same experience in that place, and i am very glad i got out. it was a total disaster.
