I had a loaner car from a dealer and parked in the apartment overnight. It was towed away. I called the rental office for an explanation. They told me that any car without parking permit is subject to be towed. I said I understood that but when I drove my car home last night the rental office had already closed. How did I suppose to do' Park the car in a shopping center and walk home' She just plainly told me yes . Now, I was really pissed off.
She told me later on that I supposed to park the car in the guest spots. I said I was never told about that plus it was not stated in the lease. She told me I need to read every issue of their monthly communication. What an explanation. Do I suppose to read every fine print of their monthly communication like read my monthly statement from my bank' Anyway, I have to pay 110 dollars for an overnight parking.
Whoever rents apartment in Windsor village needs to be careful being ripped off.

MrDurden20,are you hired by the apartment? Why so enraged?
In my previous apartment, they put a warning on your car first then tow it away. I am just express my opinion. If you want to live in this apartment, go ahead.

While their reaction was quite rude, they do have a point. You get a parking sticker so they know you're a resident, of course they tow everyone else. You can't have parking spots for every residents if you allow everybody else to park there. Every complex operates like that. You should have known from getting a parking sticker when you moved in.
Still, there are nice ways to tell the residents that.

You know what this review is rediculous!!! The rental office great with dealing with issues like this. It is the rude people that have a bad experience. You're blaming your own stupidity on the rental office. They tow cars with out stickers, yours did not have a sticker, therefore YOU GET TOWED. Pay for your mistake and move on. You have a phone, call the office tell them your situation and they will help. They put over night passes in the side mailbox if you call and request one. DON'T BE DUMB!!! AND YES READ THE FINE PRINT!!! That is why it is there...

I agree with MrDurden if they dont tow you would be complaining that there was not enough parking. I had to rent another car due to an accident and I called the office and they had the maintenance man meet me that night with a temporary parking pass. But that is because I read the newsletters. Im glad you got towed it shows that they are being diligent on the parking rules.
