I have lived in Windsor for 5 years and love it. However, after reading other people's comments, perhaps i just got lucky'

Pros:
-I found the staff to be nice as a whole. Michelle, who unfortunately just got transferred to NJ, was always pleasant, helpful, knowledgeable, and greeted me by name when I entered the office.
-The pool is great! I don't use it as much as I should, but it's really pretty. The deck is great. The fitness room isn't bad either.
-Parking: I've never had real trouble except when I get home real late on a weeknight or it's snowy. There are plenty of spots to choose from.
-Snow removal: those guys really work it!
-Maintenance: their "fleet" is great! You can send your request online, and I've never waited more than 48 hours for a repair. And the biggest repair i've needed was a leaky ceiling, which was patched in a jiffy.
-2.5 bathrooms for 3 people!
-Washer/dryer in unit! And in it's own closet on the upper floor, not in a weird or inconvenient place.
-huge kitchen!
-2 very large bedrooms (and one small one)
-wall-to-wall carpeting
-no one above you (in a 3-person)
-the landscaping is beautiful!
-people DO pick up after their doggies!
-away from the street yet walkable to many places
-has it's own traffic light onto Lexington Street
-shuttle to Alewife

Cons:
-the walls are thin and it can get noisy if you have loud neighbors. However, when I complained to the office they wrote my lovely neighbors a note and they were quiet (for awhile).
-not much storage (just a "Harry Potter" room under the stairs)
-starting in July, they're going to charge for guest passes. This is because residents complain about guests taking their spaces. I understand the reasoning, but $5/pass it atrocious!
-You pay a lot if you have a pet (I hear)

Neutral:
The price was a great deal when I moved in ($1900 for a 3 bedroom) and has slowly risen so it is now $2100 a month. Still, it's worth it for what we get.

Conclusion:
I wouldn't be moving out if I didn't have to. I really like Windsor, and all of my friends are jealous when they see the size of my (master) bedroom!
