I live in a 1-bedroom apartment for the past 5 months and I have to say that this is the WORST place to live and not at all worth the premium price these folks ask for.

1. The flooring sucks big time and I can hear EVERYTHING from my neigbours who live upstairs. The most distrubing thing is that the Windsor management does absolutely NOTHING about it.

I haven't been able to sleep for the past few months because the family who lives just above my bedroom tends to sleep at 1.00am in the morning and the lady who lives above my living room tends to walk with her shoes one early in the morning!!

So, essentially I cannot sleep before 1.00am and am woken up by 7.00am. And the management calls this a luxury apartment!! Unfortunately I cannot leave because my lease dosen't expire for a few more months.

2. Tons of large Centipedes -- There are TONS of large centipede that keep showing up on my carpet, in my bathroom, my shower curtain, my kitchen...everywhere for the past 3 months. And whenever I complain to the Windsor management, they sends a lousy pesticide person who, I believe simply sprays water or poor quality pesticide. The sprays are not effective and these days I am super worried to even keep my legs on the floor while sitting on the couch. And, worst of all I have to watch out for the centipede every time I go the bathroom!

3. Parking sucks -- The lousy management dosen't allot parking space to the residence and even though we have only 1 car we have to park alteast 4 blocks away from where we live. It's not bad in the summer but it was awful in the winter!!
To worsen things, recently the management started charging any cars that don't belong to the residents. So, if your friend is visiting you overnight, be prepared to pay for them!!

Anyway, this is a lousy place to live and me and my husband's don't recommend tis to anyone at all even if the rent is to go down to $1000/- per month. FYI - We pay almost $1500 the gym fees (oh yeah...the gym, swimming pool is not free!) for this 1-bed room apartment.

PS: I am thinking of hiring a lawyer to sue these folks for mental torture if they continue this lousy tenant treatment.

Also note that a lot of Windsor staff lives in the complex in 2 and 3-bedroom apartment for cheap. Their sole job is to write good reviews and lock people in a 12-month to 2-year lease...So be very careful. Once you get in, its not very easy to leave like the management says so.

Wow, I am so thankful I thought to check out the reviews for this place. My husband and I saw this place Saturday, and were going to call them today to proceed with the leasing process. Not anymore after reading all these horrible reviews!

Our family broke our lease early with Windsor Village because of a smoking problem we were having. We have two young children and had to deal with the chain smoker down stairs from us for far to long. We didn't know that there was someone living downstairs from us until we signed the lease.Going to our entrance of our apartment, you wouldn't think there was a downstairs to this townhome but o yes there certainly was. I highly recommend that you don't think of Windsor Village if you do have a family or are very much against smoking. Chances are that you'll end up living on top of one there and will be miserable. We were throwing away $1950 a month for this apartment of "luxury" to deal with the smoking. I just wanted to put my imput out there. Hopefuly it will help a family/non smoker not deal with the expense of moving in and being inconvenienced. Hope this helps.
