I have lived here before the current management came and after, and concur that they generally make every interaction much more difficult than it needs to be. Plus, you can tell by reading the most positive reviews that they were written by the manager (plus the "state of the art fitness facility" she talks about has been promised since October, but as of today not one piece of equipment has gone in, and I don't expect it ever will). The outdoor pool has been dug up to make it as usable as the indoor pool, which was filled in. We have been told since the beginning of May that we have to remove all furniture from our patio so that they can do renovations "in time for summer weather", but no progress has been made on that front. This is similar to when they paved the parking lot last fall and told us we would have to move all our cars for one day, and then blocked off the parking lot for close to 3 months. I get at least 3 memos a week from them talking about new rules and regulations or explaining to us why they're not liable if something happens. You'd feel like you had more freedom if you lived in a college dorm or with your parents.

Management's goal was to buy the place, do a bunch of renovations, and sell it at a profit. That's why even though the place is virtually empty, rents keep going up. It's easier to do the renovations without the tenants in the way. That's why they're such a pain in the butt every tim you have to deal with them; they don't want you here.
