I lived at the Avalon at Flanders Hill for almost 2 years. Ever since they got a new manager in November 2006 it has become a totalitarian regime. Most of the nice staff members have transferred and the new property manager is awful. Parking garages are severely overpriced and management will find every excuse not to match market rates at the time of lease renewal. The location is nice because it is close to 85 and to route 9 but there is significant noise in some apartments from 495 and from the turnpike. There's also a shooting range close to the apartments. Save your money and rent elsewhere.

couldn't agree more, we lived there for 18 months, nice but overpriced and management raised the rent, to the point we bought a house and our mortgage payment per month is less. the management suck and most of ths staff also (except for a couple), the old management & staff were terrfic and prices more reasonable. who would think with lending rates going down, and a buyers market, that rent would go up 20%......?
