I chose Windsor Ridge because I liked the idea of having a townhouse (two floors), a private patio, a pet friendly community and its close proximity to 495. It was pricey, but I figured it would be worth it in the end. It wasn't.
First of all, parking is HORRIBLE. If you work evenings or nights, you will come home to an additional 10 minute drive around the complex searching for a spot. If you find one, great! Have a nice hike to your door. If you can't find one and decide to give up and park on a curb, expect a "warning notice" on your car window in the morning that will leave a sticky residue and require you to find a razor blade to scrape it off.
Secondly, the children are noisy, unruly, rude and typically unsupervised for a good 3 hours after getting home from school. If you are unlucky enough to be home during this period of time, expect to endure screaming, shouting, swearing and the occasional "ding dong ditch" throw in for fun. And if the noisy and unruly parents have equally noisy and unruly parents, expect to be disturbed by banging and yelling throughout the evening. The paper-thin walls don't help this situation any.
Add in the fact that there is a steep monthly pet rent and no utilities (not even water!) are included...
I could go on, and on...but I have 10 more months on my lease and I'm just depressing myself.

You talk about the steep monthly pet rent and no utilities but you knew this when you signed your lease moron. You shouldnt have signed on the dotted line.

Unfortunately, when a person pays pet rent, he/she thinks it is ok to let the dog(s) bark from 6:00 am to 10:00 PM. My neighbors leave their dogs alone all day...and they bark all day.
