When I first moved-in in 4/97 water and trash was the only thing included and my rent was $525.00

About a yr and half later, they decided to include heat/hot water with the rent. Prior to those changes, the property management took a survey on tenants' electric bill for the year (winter/summer months) and it averaged to be $200.00 a month. I being single average about $65 @ mo/yr ($25-40.00 during the summer and about $85 to $120.00 during the winter months). I believe that it was an unfair way to raise my rent from $540 to $775.00). All those "fat" potatoes/soap opera wives that stayed at home at the time, screwed it up for many single persons like me. A new management took over (and name changed to Southwoods Apts) and my opinion, the place took a turn to the worse... Noisy younger crowd, no place to park at time (meaning parking near your own apt) because the frikking visitors took all the spaces near your unit. So you had to park on the over flow parking lot (where the snow was pilled up high during the winter months). I hope the place has changed, I enjoyed living in Westfield and I did not had any other problems other than the ones I mentioned... I believe that the OFFICE STAFF hands were tied. If I ever return to MA, I would consider it and I also recommend it. IT should be an adult community (30 and above). Then, that would be discrimination, huh' LOL
