I lived here for a semester while finishing my degree at Westfield State College. The location was perfect - a five minute drive to campus, Stop & Shop, CVS and a few restaurants. Also easily accessible to Southwick/Agawam or I-90 (Mass Pike) and I-91. We lived in a two-bedroom, one bathroom apartment and if I remember correctly, cable and internet were included in rent while we paid electric and water ourselves. The kitchen and appliances were updated and nice, and the carpets and walls were fresh and clean. I spent a lot of time by the pool during the summer and it was always clean, had a lifeguard on duty and had nice chairs to lay on. We used the laundry room and it was always clean and available. I don't recall a fitness center, but I used the one on campus anyways. We were called down the office one day and told there were numerous complaints, including a police complaint. We had about five friends over and were playing board games and laughing, no later than midnight on a Saturday. When you live in a college town, you need to expect those things. Now at 24, I'd probably have complained, too. But I also wouldn't live in a community filled mostly with college students. I'm sure the walls were thin, because an infant lived in the apartment above us, and I could hear it cry all hours of the night.
