Avalon Ledges

I have lived here for over a year and have no major complaints other than the shoddy construction and occasional trashy neighbors (who used to throw empty cans and cigarette butts off the 3rd floor balcony but have since moved). I live on the 2nd floor and can hear every thunderous step made by the people upstairs and it sounds like a waterfall when they flush their toilet. I can't understand how walls this thin can comply with a fire code.

Re: maintenance I have had no problems. I lived here only a month when my refrigerator quit. Within 1hr of my call, I had a new unit and an offer to pay for my ruined food by management. I similarly placed a call about a leaky toilet that was fixed the next day. Much better response than my last apt.

I was quite dismayed to learn that rent increases signficantly year to year so if you think you've locked in a good rate, think again. This year's increase was 6% and based on the high turnover rate, you'd think management might think twice about this. I will most likely not be renewing my lease again.
