Definitely not Avalon.

QAG is not Avalon...no where close. But then again, when we lived there in 03', the price was no where near Avalon's either. Then girlfriend and I went apartment shopping for a while and found that QAG was the best deal around in 03', with all utilities included in the, then, modest rent price.
The neighbors were nice and quiet, and the fact that we lived with a state cop in the building (who parked his state cruiser visible for all to see) i'm sure helped with whatever riff-raff there might have been.
The "fitness center" is crap. I went there twice and left bitten from head to toe. At night, there are areas of the gym that are completely dark so be wary of your surroundings if you dare use the facilities.
The pool is crap too (almost literally).
The bugs are plentiful (probably because of the woody area QAG is situated in) but the trees do add a nice touch in the winter/summer months.
The apartment itself was decent. The bathroom and kitchen were incredibly ugly (old yellow tiled bathroom and old brown dingy cabinets). Because there was no dishwasher in the unit, we had to buy a mini dishwasher from BestBuy and had to block half the sink just to use it.
They offer storage in the attic which we thought was big enough. It's a little creepy up there (like the fitness center) because it reminds you of a dead end alley. If you have to go up there, and you're not sure of your abilities to fight off someone, I wouldn't go up there alone. I never had a problem with anyone, but I can imagine someone who might be afraid.
We were given 1 parking space, which was taken several times by the same car. We tried getting this car towed but was told that they couldn't. I don't know why.
I didn't hate my experience at QAG but I wouldn't live there again.

The apartments are nice. If you want your personal information kept private then don't give it to the office. Children cannot scream or play you will be threatened with an eviction or a no trespassing order. The management is rude and does not no anything but to say really I didn't realize that. The new projects of Weymouth it is to bad this place was a wonderful place to live but the past few years it has gone down to a hell whole. So move in if you dare.
