I have been living at Avalon Oaks for the past three years. The first year was wonderful. My neighbors were wealthy, upstanding citizens who were quiet and didn't bother anybody.

Unfortunately, after the first year, they started letting the trash in. This apartment complex has more section 8 than I've ever seen. It's terrible.

Children constant run around the parking lot, throwing rocks, screaming, and riding their bikes into your car. They are loud, abusive, and their parents certainly don't keep tabs o n them. The management has done nothing to solve this problem. Neighbors are constantly smoking outside. I haven't been able to open my window for the past two years because my downstairs neighbor would chain smoke outside of my bedroom windows.

The appliances are old and really loud. When you run the dishwasher it sounds like you've got a mack truck idling in your living room. Having a washing machine in the unit is nice, but the capacity is very small.

Oh yeah, and if you like it when your landlord raises your rent every year then this is the place for you! They have consistently raised my rent to 'market rate' every year. It's funny how market rate always managed to be exactly $100 more. When you call to complain they merely say that they can't do anything for you.

In summation, if you love white trash, smoke, screaming children, old appliances, and horrible neighbors, then Avalon Oaks is right up your alley.
