Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2008
We lived at Avalon Oaks for over five years and had to move due to location about a year and a half ago. During that time, we had no complaints. Snow plowing and landscaping was great and all maintenance request was handled quickly and efficiently. Did not have a neighbor issue and we were very happy there.
Management and Maintenance were tremendous so we were very fortunate.
Recently due to our previous experience at Avalon and circumstances, we have the opportunity to move back to Avalon Oaks.
We recently took a tour and viewed several of the apartments.
We were shocked of what we had observed. Hallways were dirty (we looked at the 6000
building)and was in desperate need of some painting.
The complex is slowly starting to look like a urbun project.
Bath towels and bathing suits hanging over the railings on the balconies which faced the street. Not very impressive. Bicycles everywhere, even though there are bike racks. Many people using their balconies for storage and quite honestly it is these kind of things that change the makeup of the complex.
The outside of the buildings are starting to look shabby and are in need of some Power Washing.
We were totally shocked of the turnaround the past year and a half.
I guess it comes down with Avalon Management abandoning the Lease rules.
If none of the above bother you then perhaps you will enjoy it.
The location is fantastic.
