We have recently moved in here about 2 weeks ago... I just love it. I have lived in apartments in NY, Seattle and other apartments in Boston area...but this is the BEST place I have lived in. It almost feels like your own home. I wish this were a condo and I could buy it. The layout is absolutely perfect...it doesn't feel like an apartment layout at all...extremely spacious and well planned. The closets are just perfect. The tiles in the bathrooms and kitchen is amazing. All appliances and cabinets are brand new and great. The office management seems really friendly actually We have been working with Maurene, she is the one who showed us the place, signed the lease etc...she is totally great. She goes out of her way to make us feel welcome even after we have already moved in. The maintenance staff is also amazing, extremely caring. They have been very attentive to problems and just extremely accomodating to our needs. I have never seen any apartment complex go out of the way to wash all the blinds and ac vents with pinesol because we are allergic. They have just in every way made Avalon oaks west a great home. I haven't met too many of my neighbors yet but overall it seems very quiet. Its mostly families who live here and its nice to see children playing in the play area in the evenings. The complex seems very quiet even with children around. One more great factor...parking is amazing, initially I was concerned that there weren't assigned spots...but there is ample parking and we always find parking right in front of our entrance. The community is very clean. I have never seen such a clean organized trash area. The trash area is first of all huge and very well lit...plus the trash vents are neatly labelled and maintained very well. Its a delight to throw trash now, my husband had to take the trash out in the previous apartment because I hated the trash disposal area there. The fitness center has brand new equipments, its like having a personal gym because we hardly see anyone else using it and they have a TV with cable in there...makes working out a lot of fun. Overall just a great place to live in.
