Not bad, not great, just alright

My husband and I moved in here about 6 months ago. I wanted to stay awhile before just writing an opinion, but, after being here awhile, we are going to leave. The prices are too much for the noisy, drafty apartment.
The location is good, the look of the apartments are appealing, but for $1375 a month for a 1-bedroom... really' Move somewhere else. Not all neighbors are noisy, in fact, most are courteous and kind. Some are not. And if you do have the displeasure of living below or next-to, or across from, someone who has parties, extremely loud music at odd hours, or constantly runs in their apartment and throws furniture around from 1AM-5AM...don't expect management to go out of their way to fix it.
The management team seems nice enough, they're just ridiculously (seemingly..) busy and never take the time to adequately accommodate people for these prices. If I were paying $750 for these apartments I might think that I was getting what I paid for, as far as service was concerned, but... I'm not.
When they "re-asphalt" the pavement for the parking lot, expect to have to move your car for 1-3 days and park somewhere else... but where' Oh, anywhere but where you're allowed. And be prepared to get towed for it and have them say "Well... you HAD to park there, yes, we told you to, but you've got to pay to get the vehicle back.. we're not doing anything about it." And the windows...even though they're down and locked--you can feel the frigid air pouring in through the cracks and under the door. It's not great fun. And can help run up the gas/electric bill that you pay..as only cold water is included in your rent.
It's just a little annoying. So, if those things don't bother you, then yes, do move in. At least come see the place.
Beware: Some of the halls smell gross every once in awhile. Sometimes people's pets go to the bathroom in the hall and the owners don't pick up/clean up...or even report it. So it just sits there for 24-48 hours. Lovely.
