Horrible Place to live

I moved in here in December of 2006 and couldn't wait to leave.

I was reading the last review laughing because everything in it was true. I moved in thinking that the comments I read were false. Then every morning at about 4am there was tons of noise outside my window making it hard to sleep. There is a scrap yard across the street that seems to work all hours of the night. They are constantly moving things at strange hours and our so loud that you can't ignore it.

The draft is unbelievable. There is a draft coming from all of the windows and the door to the balcony. I got used to it but I always had to turn my heat on. I thought being on the 4th floor I would steal everyone's heat. Boy was I wrong. The apartment was always so cold from the draft that now in my new apartment I am sweating and need to turn on the air conditioner in decemember because I am used to it being cold. The draft in the morning was so bad that you never wanted to get up for work.

For some reason on Thursdays there were neigbors playing loud music all hours of the night so it was hard to sleep. It was nice having an elevator in the building but the last 2 month I was there I could never even use it. It smelt like someone had thrown up and gone to the bathroom in it and nothing was done to change that fact. I had to take the stairs to avoid getting sick from the smell.

The washer and dryer were nice at first, until you had to dry everything 2 to 3 times before they were dry. I called to get this fixed many times and they just kept saying it was working. The electric bill and the heat bill were always high becuase of the washer and the draft.

The parking spaces were hard to come by once you weren't allowed to park in lot across the street. Vistor always seemed to be full and you would occasionally have people parked in your spots.

The pool seems like a great thing at first, but you are only allowed 2 guests. You have to sign in ( like you are in highschool) and their is an attendant that is always there watching you. This person is not a lifeguard they are there just making sure that you follow rules and they watch you swim. It is usually a kid that could not save your life.

The staff seems really nice but they are fake. When it was time to move out they were rude. There were a few times that I thought I would have to get lawyers involved because of their treatment and lack of information.

All around I feel in love with this place and once their realized that it wasn't great at all.
