We came here thinking it would be a good community place. Sad to say this place just isnt worth the money.
The Good:
Cable: There is an alternative to ATT and its their inhouse cable. Its pretty good and cheap.
Broadband: Cable broadband, same deal as above, only problem is that VPN access is not available.
Trash: There is a trash chute in my building. Beats having to go out in the bitter winter cold to throw it out.
Patio: Patios are pretty nice and big. Good for children to play around in.
Security: Decent. They have closed circuit cameras, but the new intercom system is useless. They spent a couple of thousand dollars and provided a really useless system. During the day time, you cant even figure out who is at the front entrance due to the light conditions.
Laundry: Decent
The Bad:
Management: Rude. Especially when you call on their maintenance number. Have to repeat till you are hoarse. In the end, its worth going down to the office during working hours and complaining. When its time to renew the lease, they are even ruder.
Gym: They have been saying that they are going to renovate the gym ever since I can remember. Its been a couple of years now. There is one treadmill, one cycle and four weight machines for around (10apts*6floor*6buildings=atleast 360 apartments)
Lease: Need to give a TWO month notice. Everybody else requires a one month notice. Its even difficult to get responses from other realty if you start calling so far ahead.
Snow Cleaning: Terrible. I know this year has been bad, but even otherwise they take their sweet time and they dont do a very good job of it.
Parking: Have to walk a long way to get to the building doors
Airconditioning: Useless money guzzlers. Old boxes not worth anything.
Heat: BAD. The apartments on the top floors are even worse. Even if you turn up the heat to max, it doesnt warm up to 65.

We loved it in the summer, but now in the winter I just hate it.
