Kimball Court Apartments

Under construction From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 12/17/2004 Years at this apartment: 2001 - 2004   Kimball court is now under construction. Two 10 story towers are being built in the back lot. The back of building 3 looks over the construction. The new site is on ledge which will require blasting. Management was careful not to tell the tenants about the scope of the new construction until 3 days before they started tearing down the trees. They still haven't told the tenants about the blasting. The playground abutts the construction area. Heavy equipment is stored on site. There are no side walks anywhere and there must be at least 100 children living in the complex. There is no safe place for the children so they play in the roadways. They are not allowed to play on the lawn or in the halls. Most tenants want to move out. Many like myself can not at this time. It will be 2006 before the new building is finished. Then owners have started buying land behind buiding 6 with the idea of putting another complex up there on Pearl STreet. Do you want to live here'
