I have lived in Kimball Court Building 1 for 10 months now. The management is helpful and very nice, and the maintenance team are not only fast to respond to problems but they get the job done. My apartment is not only nice and relatively new (2003 I belive'), but it has never had any problems other than an occasional light bulb blowing out (which managment actually fixes for me!). As for parking, I work until 9 every week day, and on the weekends I go out all the time (and late too for that matter), and not once have I had even the slightest problem finding a parking space. Yes, it is not exactly right next to the building but a 1 minute walk at the most. Any complaints of that nature are pure lies and rooted from pure laziness (come on if you cant handle that walk you prob. should hit the treadill cuz you need it). Anyways, you always find a space, any day any time. The new gym is beyond great, and I love it. As for the negative, yeah the elevators are a little slow (big deal). The only thing I can think of that is negative is there are a lot of a particular ethnic group that use too much curry (I do feel bad saying this, but it's gross!). They stink up the halls and elevators at times, but again Kimball has a great circulation system that pumps clean air into the hallways. The elevators unfortunately do not have much circulation, so odds are it's going to smell a little funky in there from them, and it's usually the same curry scent. They also come to the gym without showering or using deoderant, and it is nasty. That's not a lie either, because I go everyday and when they walk in I have to leave because of the stench. But, to be honest they are the only negative thing because there's so many of them and they smell! They aren't bad people though, just a little annoying. My boyfriend and I are beyond happy with our aparment, yes it is expensive, but it's worth it! You cant find an apartment in the Boston area that is nice and new without paying that amount of money for it. And crime' I dont think so. Oh yeah, noise is non-existant as construction is done. I would highly highly recommend Kimball Court, and I dont work for management!

I would love to hear your opinion 3 yrs from now.( I hope you can last that long at Kimball). This place has gone far beyond normal and nice. I have lived in Kimball Court from 2003-2007. It used to be a nice and quiet place to live with a great management( none of which is currently employed there). Ever since they started building the Towers this place started to fall apart, the managment has changed their attitude becoming careless and rude to the tenants. This was one of the many reasons that have builed up for the last couple years for me to move out. The place I moved in a few months ago is in Woburn, it is a brand new apartment complex, I pay $20 more, I rented a BRAND NEW apartment, with a brand new washer and dryer in the unit. The management is outstanding, including young and absolutely bright and inteligent people, that care and listen to you. Everything in the complex including the fitness, the poor, the indoor basketball court, the guest room with the tariffic amenities is spotless and very well maintained. By living there I myself feel like a brand new person. I now understand what a pitty tenancy I have had at Kimball Court. I would never recomand this place to anybody, in fact I have already adviseda few friends that were considering to move in Kimball not to and in fact again they didn't. I have friends at Kimball that are looking for a new place to move too considering th fact that this place has became NOT a pleasure to live in. It's not worth you money. I couldn't have been luckier and happier that I finally moved out of there, after the months and years of hearing the annoying construction and breathing the dust in the name on the "luxury" Kimball Towers...

THE WALLS ARE THIN AND YOU HEAR YOUR NEIGHBORS. CELL PHONES DO NOT WORK INSIDE THE BUILDING. MANAGEMENT SUCKS AND WILL REQUIRE YOU TO COME INTO THE OFFICE 4x MORE THAN YOU SHOULD HAVE TO. THE HEAT AND AC IS NOT FIXED HOWEVER YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR THE FAN TO CIRCULATE THE AIR SO YOU DO STILL PAY HALF THE HEATING/AC COST. CARS ARE VANDALIZED IN THE LOTS AND THE GARAGE. THERE IS NO PARKING AND EVEN WITH A GARAGE PASS YOU WILL NOT FIND A SPOT IF YOU COME HOME AFTER 11PM. TO TOP IT OFF THE TOW COMPANY TOWED MY CAR WHICH COST ME $180 EVEN THOUGH I HAD THE STICKER. THERE ARE BED BUGS IN THE BUILDING THAT WILL RUIN YOUR BELONGINGS. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR THE WORST LIVING EXPERIENCE POSSIBLE MOVE HERE, BUT SERIOUSLY DONT BE STUPID GO ELSEWHERE.
