I have been living in one of the towers for about a year now. I am leaving in just a few days, and couldn't be happier. I have a lot of complaints about this place, but there are a few things that have been nice as well. There is not enough parking here for all of the tenants, unless you are willing to pay to park in the garage. No matter what size apartment you live in, you only get one space in the garage. I worked a lot of late nights, and was unable to find a place to park. When I made a complaint about it, I was basically told that there is plenty of parking, and if I did try and park in the garage, without the garage pass, my car would get towed. I was told over and over that there was plenty of parking... but I can tell you from experience, that if you come home after 9 pm, there is not enough parking.
Also, you can really hear everything from your neighbors. I know that this is an apartment complex, and that there are ten floors here, but still. The guys above us are loud, very loud. When I made a complaint I was told that there was not much they could do, but let them, know, and that it was my responsibility to call the police, and take it from there. Unfortunately, I felt that the management here are only trying to get more people to live here than they are trying to keep those that do live here happy.
The rent in my opinion is rather high, but they pay for heat and water, so overall I guess it ok. A lot of apartments have washer and dryers, which does make life easier for me.
The pool I feel is dirty, and the water looks gross. I wouldn't swim in it all.

Hi,
I am considering moving to Kimball Towers at the end of August. I was wondering if you could give me your honest opinon on the safety of the property and location. It seems to be getting awful reviews on apartmentratings.com.
I am a single female and will be living alone.. I work Monday-Friday 7am-3pm in Boston, so I usually leave for work around 5:30 -6:00am depending on commute and in the winter it is usually dark outside. I go to grad school at night and on the weekends and some night, not out of class until 10:30pm.
Is the parking lot really that unsafe with weird characters doing drugs, vandalizing and stealing cars? Are parking spaces really limited so there is no where for you to park after 9pm? Do they not give assigned parking spots? Your insight and opinion would really be helpful..
Thank you so much in advance

Whomever wrote that about "weird characters doing drugs" is totally lying. Cars do not get stolen or vandalized here. It can happen anywhere you live, but it hasnt happened here.

NOT ONLY DID I HAVE TO THROW OUT HALF OF MY BELONGINGS BECAUSE OF BED BUGS, BUT MY CAR WAS STOLEN FROM THE LOT. KIMBALL TOWERS IS MOST DEFINITELY THE WORST PLACE TO LIVE

Your car was stolen? Right. You sure you didn't have a parking sticker and you parked in resident parking? Some people, I swear....
