When I moved in here, I got a nasty letter (I still have it) from management accusing me of hoarding illegal immigrants. It also stated that this was confirmed by other residents who brought this to their attention. Dumbfounded and speechless, I approached them and they said "Oh yeah, you have your girlfriend staying with you illegally. That was just a generic template letter we send out." (LOL, I still have the letter).

Someone walked into my apartment while I was in bed having sex. I called Management and asked for a deadbolt after that happened. The manager was very elusive about it then admitted that it was their staff that did that. Maintenance eventually came by and put on a chain lock instead. My girlfriend doesn't feel safe at all when she's home by herself.

Management periodically places flyers under doors stating they need to do random checks of the premises for on THE NEXT DAY. When I first got this, I thought they were on the illegal immigrant thing again, but apparently they are checking apartments for a worm problem they are having.

Parking here is disgusting, there are no spots after 7pm. I was forced to park in the limited visitor's section by the Assistant Manager and Manager because my car is registered under my father's name and they cant give me a parking sticker to park in the lot because "then everyone would get one for their friends too."
I am paying 1700 for a one bedroom yet I have to park in the visitor's section because of that idiotic logic'' They responded that I should pay $75/month for Garage Parking because they dont check stickers in there. Yes, they have garage parking with plenty of empty spots and this was supposed to be free for the residents in the towers. However, they realized they could nickel and dime the residents and make them pay $75/month for garage parking.

This place is not safe at all. There have been numerous cars vandalized in the parking lot. The plasma TV in the lobby of Building 9 was stolen, and now they have a picture where it was... like the tenants are not gonna notice.

The walls are cheap and they dent and stain as soon as you touch them. You can easily hear your neighbors if you're trying to sleep.

When I moved in, they "conveniently" left out the page in the lease where the tenant reports the damage that was already present prior to moving in. Check for it when you sign your lease.

Maintenance does not respond to calls. I waited for over a month, and realized I should fix it myself. The dryer eats clothers, ruined a couple of expensive things. Maintenance has not come to fix it to this day.

The gym is a joke. 2 out of the 3 ellipticals are broken.

I am paying $1700 for a one bedroom, but my neighbors ask me how come management didnt tell me about the Affordable Housing Option ($1250 on standard 1 bedroom units, 1450 for standard 2 bedroom units). I easily qualify for this yet they left it out.

Corcoran Management makes this place a pretty ---- concentration camp. Management is very rude and not helpfull at all. The receptionist, assistant manager, and manager are 3 b*tches. Set your brain to deal with very low IQs, high school GEDs, and unflexible protocols when you have any interaction with the staff. They feel entitled to tell residents how to live, especially frustrating when tenants realize they're paying management's salary.

With different management, this place would be bearable but expensive. Current management just makes it expensive and unbearable. This place has high turn-around and there always is vacancy because it sucks and people are realizing it. I am convinced the positive reviews from this site are most likely the management themselves counter-balancing the negative truth.

Luckily my lease expires and I will be moving with a smile =)

Well said Mr sufferer...I am too suffering because of this apathetic management. I lost my washing machine card and want a new one. When I went to get the new one from the gymnasium bldg where the machine is installed I found that it cannot give you the new card. I went 1.5 months back but no one bothered to correct the problem till now. And you know what I have a new born kid which makes it essential that I wash her clothes more often.

I totally agree. Management is aweful, and the receptionists are so rude and bitchy, If I was management I would get rid of them.

Management is definitely NOT resident friendly, but you detract from the credibility of your review by using foul language in it.
