I have been in this complex barely a year and I cannot wait to get out!

When I first moved into this complex, I was very leery based on what I saw but since it was very close to where I work, I ignored my better judgment and took the place and have regretted the decision ever since.

These are just some of the problems I have experienced while I have been here:

1.During the winter, walkways and other public areas remained unshoveled for sometimes days before they were finally cleared on more then a few occasions.
2.Hot water is scarce on a regular basis. Sometimes I have to wait as much as half hour or so in the morning to get enough hot water to take a shower.
3.Shared utilities such as washing machines and driers are continually out of order and in need of service. I have had to drive to a laundromat to dry or wash clothing probably close to ten times since I have been here.
4.The heat in my apartment is out of control, during the winter it is pegged at 82 degrees, even with the thermostat off! Now that's the summer I am just flat out dying, as it's a perpetual sauna in my apartment. I have complained, during both the winter and the summer to no effect. Apparently, they expect me to run my AC all year round.
5.There are these huge (some are close to 2"), nasty looking centipedes (hairy and fast) crawling all over the place. These things are just scary, and they seem to show in the worst places (use your imagination). Sometimes I am afraid to close my eyes to sleep at night...
6.The pool (one of the things I thought would be good come summer) is worthless because there is no security on the pool entrance and droves of people who do not even live in the complex wander down, crowding out the people that actually live here on a regular basis. It's always a joy to have someone who doesn't even live in the complex tell you, you're "hogging" a picnic table and you need to move.

The overall feeling that I get from the management is that they just do not care. As long as they can find a sucker to stick in these overheated boxes they call apartments, they are happy. Beyond that, you can complain all you want but only way you will see any improvement is to move.

I would be very wary of the run of good reviews popping up in the past few months. To me that just seems like the management finally discovered the Internet and realized that the people were being vocal about the lousy state of affairs here so they posted some bogus reviews in an effort to offset the truth. No one that I talk to who lives here seems all that happy to be here. In fact, it seems a lot of folks took the place because of the location but after being here a bit, plan on getting out as soon as possible.

Do yourself a favor and pass this place on by, you'll be very happy you did.
