Did you ever think about how awful it was a few years ago with mcr management' Maybe that is why the rent was so cheap - nothing ever got fixed - EVER - there was drugs, prostitution, crime, homeless people everywhere. What crappy renovations' Everything is getting updated. They gave everyone the opportunity to move before the renovations began, and even gave us a heads up that the rents would be more market rate. If you find a better deals, it's in main south or the suburbs! I've been lookign around too, only because i am switching schools, and i haven't found anything with utilities included. it seems to be the trend for landlords. if you paid attention to rising costs of utilities, eespecially electricity, then you would understand why the bill is so high. i had a drafty window too, and i told the office about it, made an appointment to get it switched out (i had to move things away fromthe window), and now i don't have any problems. maybe if you made an appointment instead of complainign on here about it, your problem would be fixed. i know, from living there so long, that there are many older tenants who just complain to each other instead of the office. then when they are ready to explode, take it out on the office. maybe if you told them what you needed changed in a nice way, yuo'd get it done. it's always worked for me. in the old apartrments, they gave us a lot of time to choose a new apartment before the cold weather even came around. it sounds like your own fault for procrastinating. i think what you wrote was an unfair review, and i think it's better if you communicate your problems to them, because b****ing about it on here dosn't solve anything. i'm sure it makes you feel better, but maybe you should move to main south where the cheap rents are. i was there my 2nd yr at clark, and it seems that it would be more in your budget.

please i would love to know who you spoke to in the office because this place is a nightmare.....who honestly puts sheet rock in at 3 am...seriously how much is the office paying you...
