I have lived in this complex for almost 4 years. It is in a great location - near 290 and right off of rt 9. However, the walls are very thin. My neighbors enjoy playing the guitar and singing along. They also have three small children. The people who live above me enjoy bouncing on their floors for hours on end - it is incredibly annoying. The intercom system is nice, except for when kids like to press your buzzer early in the morning for fun. Also, there really isn't many places for kids to play, so they like to ride their bikes in the parking lot. This is something that they are not supposed to do, but their parents let them do it anyway. Watch out for kamakaze pedestrians who like to walk out in front of your moving car, or the people who just stop their car right in the middle of the parking lot driveway, so that you cannot get around them. I should add that my boyfriends car has been broken into not once, but twice in the visitors parking lot, which is far away from the building. We have since hired a security company - who is great - and have not had a problem of that source ever since. I have a one bedroom apartment, which is a decent size. I have older appliances, no dishwasher. The disposal breaks often. My bath tub, sink, and toilet are three different colors. When I moved in it was filthy, but they took $50 off of my first months rent in return. Management is very nice, and fairly reasonable. Another complaint of mine though is that they are CONSTANTLY sending you notices that they need to enter your apartment for one inspection or another. It's either for the owners of the property, or for extermination, or the bi-annual fire alarm check, or the bi-annual fire extinguisher check (which are done during different times of the year). You don't need to be home when they come, but I don't like the idea of them in my home by themselves (not for any real reason), and they generally give you less than 24 hours notice that they are going to do so. Also, there have been many, many, many times that I have either woken up to no hot water - or worse, no water at all. They are generally nice about it, but it is a huge inconvenience just the same. The fire alarms are pulled fairly often as well. They have been doing a lot of upkeep on the outside of the buildings, and have been good about sending notices out to people regarding upkeep, etc.
