I only live here because it is cheap. I would never recommend this place to anyone. The office people change yearly, the repair people are not so bright.
I have been here for over 8 years, thank god I travel a ton, I can't even begin to tell you how noisy this place is. Kids playing ball, riding bikes, and skate boarding down the hall. Elevator always broken. Security doors always proped open. Not enough parking.
My stove caught on fire after it stopped working properly for over 3 months. I lived without a stove for nearly 6 months. A/C froze up, huge block of ice - called maint. they told me not to use it for a week (July). as it thawed, water started pooring out of the bottom, so much that it caused water damage to the ceiling below. Oh it gets better - they sent me a bill for that damage, made me live with moldy carpet and an A/c that didn't work.
All I know is if I came home from work everyday, like most, I would never come home here. I am out of town during the week and only home weekends and holidays. Actually, now that I have a boyfriend, I am here even less - now it is just for the sake of having my own place.
My boyfriend lives in an apartment on Plantation and that community is really nice. I think it is about the same age as Eastview, but it looks so much better. Everytime Eastview is in the midst of getting new management or owners, I hope his management company would take over. Now that community is worth recommending.

i know exactly what you mean!the rent is cheap but the hallways are basically used for a playground...i personally think during the summer the parents leave for work and lock the kids out for the entire day...i have had my clothes that i had just put in the dryer taken out all i did was go to check my mail,when i returned my clothes were thrown in a ball oon the floor with someone elses clothes drying on my time...when u report this they act like youre lying....and the fire alarms!!i dont think i go a sunday without getting woken up at 830 am to vacate the building because some moron set a grease fire and opened their door instead of a window
