Compared to my last apartment, this place is a palace!
The office staff has their act together. They are familiar with the area and know what's going on. They are courteous and helpful.
The apartment was in excellent condition when I moved in. I know some of the maintainence guys and they are friendly and knowledgable. I have not yet needed their services.
There is some city noise from the fire station, the train, and the ambulances on the way to UMass Med. but it only takes a couple of weeks to adjust to it. Since I work night shift, if I can get used to it, anyone can. I've never heard my neighbors through either the walls or the floor.
Highway access is good, and major routes are only minutes away including I-290, Route 9, and the Mass Pike.
The laundry system uses a smart-card system, and the units are maintained by Lundermac, who seems to get broken units fixed quickly.
The neighborhood is safe as I can tell. I don't know what the other reviewer was referring to with drug deals.
My fiance and I looked at a handful of other apartment complexes and found that Princeton Place had the highest value.
