I don't know what problems other people are having, but...

...I love my apartment. I'm not having any problems living here or with the staff. Every time that I have spoken with a member of the staff, they have been cordial, polite, and very helpful. I receive a lot of packages delivered by UPS and they always keep my packages safe and in great condition until I can pick them up. I'm not a big fan of the laundry system (I think having an option for coin-op would be nice along with the cards), but I almost never have to fight for a washer or dryer. My apartment is very spacious for a one-bedroom and a great place to live for someone who is just starting out on their own. It reminds me a lot of my college; the buildings are very similar to my dorm, but they seem to be quite private (I barely see my neighbors). Any time that I have asked something of the staff, they have taken care of it. For those people who complain about the noise, they obviously just like to complain, because I have asked the staff to take care of noise problems and they have done it promptly. There are certainly a lot of waterfowl because of the big pond in the front, but I don't mind them because, again, it reminds me of my college. It does make it difficult to walk in the grass at times, but I usually go up to a park to Bel Air if I'm doing something that involves grass, like throwing baseball, etc. This complex is close and convenient to everything (two grocery stores within a mile), 5 miles from Bel Air and 2 miles from Edgewood, but its location back in the residential environment off of Woodsdale Road keeps it quiet and a subdued atmosphere. You are really close to I-95, but the sound barriers do a good job keeping the noise down when you are inside, and all you can hear when you are outside is faint noise from the highway. I have very few problems with parking, other than I wish that they would assign a spot to each apartment (since the policy in the lease is one car per apartment - at least for the 1BRs). There are more than enough spots for each building in its provided lot, so no real complaint at all.

EDIT: I have some more to add.

I got a showerhead to replace the one that was in my apartment. However, I could not get the showerhead that was in the apartment off of the nozzle. I called the office to see if someone from maintenance could bring a wrench or a pair of pliers over and remove the old showerhead. Not only did they do so within 24 hours, but they installed the new showerhead for me - all at no charge. They have also come within 24 hours to fix my broken dishwasher (which wasn't really broken; it was just being stupid, but the maintenance person knew how to fix it!), and that was on a Saturday morning. They even accommodated the fact that I had company that weekend in their schedule. I appreciate all of the work that the staff here does for its tenants.

I have had some more noise problems recently with other tenants who live in the apartments above mine; however, the staff have tried their best to help with those problems even though certain people in my building choose to be inconsiderate and not pay attention to the lives of others. My personal thanks to the staff for their help.

It is quite interesting to me that you replied to almost every negative posting on this website. You must either work at Woodsdale or are getting paid to stand up for them. You really need to get a life. Leave it alone... GEEZ! Find something better to do with your time rather than being on this site constantly. Not only that but after reading your post... You have complain about issues concerning Woodsdale and than completely contradict yourself by recommending it. You complain about the laundry system, the noise levels, your neighbors, difficulty walking because of the waterfowl, faint highway noises, parking problems, and your dishwaser breaking. You really are quite unintelligent and are a huge loser. Please for the sake of everyone, GET A LIFE!!

Wow, someone has time to come on here just to insult me. Wonderful, it makes my day! For the record, I do not work for Woodsdale and am actually moving out of my apartment in the next two weeks. I just don't feel that it's right that these poor people keep getting bashed because there are angry and pathetic people in this world who don't know how to handle themselves or their problems in a mature, civilized, and responsible manner.
