University Gardens Apartments

DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!! ITS UNBEARABLE From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 5/28/2003 Years at this apartment: 2001 - 2002   I moved to Maryland from Washington State and didn't know anything about the areas in Maryland. University Gardens is located behind Tic Toc Liquors, separated only by a wire fence) on the corner of University Blvd. and Riggs Road. I can't express enough how horrible this whole area is. My apartment overlooked Tic Toc and every Sunday, I could look forward to looking out my bedroom window to see the drunks sitting under the shade trees (on the apartment side of the fence)drinking beer and occassionally taking a pee. One time, a drunk was passed out on the steps outside my apartment and I actually had to step over him. The staff knew exactly who I was as I called there every day with a complaint. There are far too many to go into here - please, just take my word for it - DO NOT MOVE HERE - it is the worst apartment complex I have ever lived in. Drug dealers, thin walls, horrible insulation, old, cheap, tacky architecture, a miniature stove in the kitchen, no storage space, just complete and total crap!!
